Our firm boasts more than twenty years of specialized experience in appellate litigation before state and federal courts.  We handle all manner of appeals, including criminal, civil, and administrative.  Before entering private practice over a decade ago, Mr. Walta clerked for a Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court and was a deputy in the Appellate Division of the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, where he litigated hundreds of felony appeals before the Court of Appeals and state Supreme Court.  As a private practitioner, Mr. Walta has appeared regularly before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and has participated in litigation before the U.S. Supreme Court.
